What is an EWP?
EWP is an abbreviation for Elevated Work Platform. It is used to provide temporary access to areas that are out of reach for workers by lifting or lowering people and equipment. These platforms allow workers to carry out various tasks such as maintenance, construction, cleaning and inspections at heights safely and efficiently.
There are many different types of EWP’s available including Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Vertical Lifts and Telescopic Handlers.

How often should an EWP be serviced?
EWP’s should be subjected to a major inspection for continued safe use after 10 years of service, and every 5 years there after.
